Steve took this picture, which is particularly nice.
We spent the afternoon returning to Athens and returning the car. Ack! Have I mentioned how much I dislike Athens, especially driving there?
We had ouzo at a cafe near the restaurant we'd picked. The restaurant served food with 2500 year-old recipes -- no potatoes, rice, or tomatoes. There were no forks and we had "clay" mugs and goblets (instead of glasses). The seafood salad was excellent. The rest of the food was pretty good too. The service was inattentive. Perhaps they misinterpretted our desire to take the meal slowly for wanting to be completely ignored even when we tried to signal them?
